Adding Accessory to Home - Accessory Not Found
I purchased a few Meross smart outlet plugs. I have added these specific types to my home in the past as well as I have many other smart accessories in my home. Trying to add the plug I would continually get "accessory not Found" error or similar. I attempted all the troubleshooting on Meross (see below for general list) and was not able to get them connected. Out of frustration, I ordered a different brand to try. When these arrived they were also giving me the same error. Last attempt to troubleshoot, I created a new home, in this new home ALL the accessories added without any errors. Now I have two homes in my Home app. This is the first time that I am adding an accessory since iOS16 was released. Is there a way to move the accessories to the correct home with all the other accessories? Any guess why the accessories will not add to my current home?
Meross support included not scanning the bar code but manually typing in the homekit code, restarting the router, restarting my phone, turning off the 5GHz channel on my router, unplugging all other networks in the house, trying to connect from the app instead, updating the firmware on the devise, trying another phone, trying to connect using my iPad, airplane mode, disabling all security on the router.
