When I type into the Mail App's Searchbar, the app does not give any feedback (nothing happens). In other words, I cannot search anything inside mail.
I am on a Apple M1 Pro, Running Ventura 13.0.1
I have tried the following:
No other proposed solutions exist online - what else can I do here? Any help is much appreciated!

It's comepletely safe and does not delete your data.
Searching still works in other places I've tried, for example:
Only Apple Mail does not work.
After running that command in terminal, apple mail still does not search properly, and the other searches still work
Does searching elsewhere in your mac work?
It may be worth resetting Spotlight. In the Terminal, type
sudo mdutil -E /
type your password as requested and press enter. Give it some time to reindex.
Same thing happened to me on an M2 MacBook Air. I created a new user account and re-setup Mail and the issue is resolved. Migrating to a new user account is never a fun solution, but a solution nonetheless.
I've done that. That did not solve the problem.
