My wallpaper on 16.1.1 updates has gone completely black background despite I have changed to my choice of wallpaper!!! Can someone help me how to change my wallpaper forever??

Wondering if restarting your iPhone may help. Sometimes that just puts everything back into order.

Tried this. Have updated my wallpaper countless times and above the “new” badge is a photo of my wallpaper that is supposedly one of my “current” choices but I can’t get my system to switch it back on. I’ve tried looking at focus, automatic sleep - as well as custom times - for dark and bright modes. Getting tired of the glitchfest that Apple is morphing into.
