IOS 16.1 wallpaper Bug

After updating iPhone 12 Pro Max to IOS 16.1 second wallpaper goes to black on back ground after using an app. Then you have to do a reboot to bring it back to normal.

By second wallpaper I assume that you mean the wallpaper on the Home Screen.

Have you tried switching wallpaper? Maybe try one of the built in wallpapers. In addition to that, try a forced restart of your phone.

I’m sorry if I came off the wrong way. I was merely pointing out that I don’t think this has anything to do with your phone being an “older” model. My point was that my phone is older than yours and I don’t have this problem.

Is your phone updated to iOS 16.1.2? If the phone is updated and this remains an issue, perhaps you should contact Apple Support for help now.
