how to get audio on prime video. use to work just fine two weeks ago now does not. Still works on ipad and iphone 8 just not iphone 12. Have done everything recommended by amazon and Apple but still no joy. I use an apple hdmi connector to the tv for streaming. Any other suggestions?

Turned off phone 12 and rebooted, deleted app, reloaded app, sign off and in again on Amazon, checked tv settings all to no avail!

I’ve called apple and I’ve called Amazon. This took a couple hours out of my life. Of course they blame the other. No help even with it escalated. I suggest canceling Amazon. Also if it continues move to android when you upgrade if apple takes care of its customers this way. It seems apple does not care to support its hdmi adapter even though they still sell it. Thx

It is an Apple software issue with v 16.1.1 update. My Apple HDMI adapter worked perfect before this update. Still works with old iPad which has not updated. Are Apple going to fix this issue as it will make the Apple HDMI adapter redundant?

Not an Amazon issue, It is the 16.1 software , soon as I can find it on iPhone, if possible will uninstall or delete software. If it causes my phone to crash, so what, and so be it. I’ve had an IPhone since my BlackBerry… New Year, new career, New Type of Phone ops system
