Window size doesn't fit screen

Often when I'm reading a page on my Browser (Chrome) on my MacBook Pro, the open browser tabs all suddenly change size and are too big to fit in the MacBook Pro's display. Specifically, I can't see the menu bar at the top, and the bottom is beyond the display. This happens across all open applications--but it usually starts from a browser window. The only way I've been able to resize the windows to fit the screen has been to restart the computer.

I thought updating my system would fix the problem, but I'm now running MacOS Monterey 12.6.1 and the problem seems to be worse, not better. This problem occurs on all my different computers. MacBook Pro 15, MacBook Pro 13, MacBook Air 11, and iMac 21 and systems ranging from Mojave to Big Sur to Monterey.

Can anyone help me?

As P. Phillips already indicated, this is related to the zoom feature in accessibility.

You can turn it off, but also it is useful sometimes, and all you need to do is zoom back out. Hold down the Control key and do a scroll down gesture to zoom out. Indeed, you accidentally ard zooming in but holding the Control key and doing a scroll up gesture.

Thanks anyway, but I've already ruled out a Google Chrome problem. It happens across all open Apps. My desktop suddenly is too big for my screen. I think it's a problem with the Apple OS system and some accessibility feature. Somehow, I am accidentally turning on some kind of magnification, but I don't know what I've done to turn it on, and I don't know how to turn it off other than to restart the computer.
