Using an SD card reader for an iPad Pro

I have an SD card reader for my iPhone, using the lighting connector, is there an adaptor for the USB-C connector for my iPad Pro?

or would I have to purchase an brand new card reader?

SD card reader works on iPhone 16 but on on iPhone 12 mini So i transfer images to the media team for my football club during the games however recently my phone has not been picking up the sd card connected via my reader on my iphone 12 mini i have tried a different reader and the same thing happened but when i gave my sd card to someone with a usb c reader for an iphone 16 and plugged it into his phone it picked it up straight away what could be the issue causinv this? OTG support for iPad mini? IPad mini does ( in fact ) have a USB-C connector not Lightning for charging as someone stated on an earlier post. But does it actually support USB? I purchased a SDXC card and a Compatible Card Reader which works on my MAC mini but nothing happens when I insert it into the iPad. The instructions with the reader specify OTG support required. Can I get this for the iPad?

You’ll not be able to use the Lightning to SD Card Adapter with a USB-C port. For iPad models with a USB-C port, you will need a USB-C to SD Card Adapter, or a regular USB Camera Card Reader.
