IBook keep crashing

When I have updated ios 16.1 on my ipad pro m1, iBook app so laggy and has a problem with large PDF (mine >200mb) , whenever select some words to “look up” or copy, ibook will frozen and force close after that, this bug is so annoying. Pls fix that soon.

IBooks still iBooks 16.3 massively unstable despite trying all the recommended fixes: software update check, closing reopening iBooks, restarting ipad etc. I think iBooks is just unstable which is massivel6 frustrating. Anyone managed to get a stable 16.3 iBooks App. It just crashes continuously. All updates checked, app closed and reopened, rebooted iPad …it still crashes! Massively frustrating.

Try a force restart: Force restart iPad – Apple Support (AU) If that doesn't work see if offloading the app and downloading again helps.
