My P800 color is not correct when I try to print to it from my new M1 MacBook. I went on Epson Support and downloaded the new driver they recommended for OS12x. But it consistently fails to install. What is causing it to not install? I keep getting an error message. Epson Support told me to download SCP800_Lite_64NR_AM.dmg.

Photoshop may have its own ICC profiles buried away in its installation, or in your local Library's ColorSync Profiles sub-folder. Click on the Desktop and then press shift+cmd+G to open the Finder's Go to Folder panel. Copy/paste the following into it and press return:
~/Library/ColorSync
This will open a new Finder window on the contents of that ColorSync folder. If there is already a Profiles folder in it, check there for missing printer ICC filters, and/or add those that you need there. Otherwise, create the Profiles folder, and apply the previous sentence.
Launch the Dock > Launchpad > Others > ColorSync Utility and click on its profiles toolbar item. See if it spots your expected printer's ICC profiles.

The Epson SureColor P800 is supported by Apple's built-in AirPrint technology when networked, and no Epson drivers would be necessary.
Network the P800 either wired or wireless and leave it powered. In Monterey's System Preferences > Printers & Scanners panel, remove any current entry for the P800 under printers by clicking [-] below that panel. Otherwise, click its adjacent [+] button. In either case, a new dialog will appear and Apple's Bonjour should find your P800 and display it as an entry on this panel. Click that entry, which will activate the Use: selector and it will automatically choose the AirPrint drivers. Click Add and your P800 will be back in the Printers listing. Right-click on it and set it to the default printer. Test print something.
I think the printer is not finding the icc profiles and that’s why the color is off. They show up in the print menu in Photoshop but I can’t find them anywhere on my computer. I’m in Monterey OS12. I’ve looked on ColorSync>Profiles.
I found them using the ColorSync utility in User. Should I copy them into the Library/ColorSync/Profiles folder? Will that enable the printer to find them?
