What is your model remote? Identify your Apple TV remote - Apple Support

Try restarting just the remote, as detailed in: If your Siri Remote or Apple TV Remote isn't working - Apple Support

Verify the setting that can disable the swiping gesture. Settings﹥Remotes and Devices﹥Clickpad﹥Click and Touch|Click Only (applies to Siri Remote (2nd generation or later) only).

My Remote Serial - ***********

That doesn’t help us. Please look for the Axxxx number on the back instead, if the identification page didn’t help.

I had a look at the clicked function is disable but don't have that as an option.

Then I suppose your remote isn’t a Siri Remote (2nd or 3rd generation).

Think the control will need to be replaced, its obviously got a fault.

Please contact Apple Support about further options.
