Change font size in iPad Mail: Body of Incoming Mail Messages

How can we change the font size in iPad iOS 16 for reading the text IN THE BODY OF MESSAGES that we RECEIVE? Not talking about the overall text size across iOS apps, but just in Mail and in the body of messages. I have already tried Settings>Accessibility and Settings>Display & Brightness. Changing those latter settings does not change the text size in the body of incoming Mail messages I am trying to read. Some senders have selected to send in a seemingly micro-sized font and it’s really hard to read on my iPad. The sidebar font size is fine and easily adjusted. Thanks for your help.

Hi LGSW,

For help with changing the font size on your iPad, test the steps below found in the article here: Change the font size on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

"Make the font even bigger

  1. Go to Settings > Accessibility, then select Display & Text Size.
  2. Tap Larger Text for larger font options.
  3. Drag the slider to select the font size you want.

Making the text too large might make it hard to tap buttons or other functions within apps. Go back to your settings and adjust the font size as needed."

It may help to also view and use the zoom features outlined here: Zoom in on the iPad screen

Cheers.
