Facetime call history on Mac

I would like my call history in the Facetime app on my Mac to show only calls made through Facetime. It currently shows every single call made from my iPhone too, which is simply distracting. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

Thanks for reaching out Peter Roussak,

It sounds like you'd like to remove some entries from being displayed in your call history. We can help.

While there isn't currently a way to automatically sort, or automatically remove call logs by the type of call, you can still View and delete the call history on your iPhone manually, using  iOS 13 or later:

How to delete call history

1. Open the Phone app, then tap Recents to view a list of recent calls
2. Tap Edit.
3. Delete your entire call history or a specific call. To clear all history, tap Clear, then tap Clear All Recents. To clear a single call, tap the Delete button , then tap Delete.

You can also delete specific calls by swiping left on the call and tapping Delete.

To keep call history up to date across all devices, turn on iCloud Drive.

We know this might not be how you'd like to see this feature work. If you'd like, you can use this link to send Product Feedback to Apple.

Hope that helps,

Take care.

Thanks for taking the time to reply but this really doesn't address my question. I wasn't asking about deleting call records from the Phone app on my iPhone (which of course I do know how to do), I was asking about how to tell Facetime what records to show on my Mac so that I don't have to wade through multiple phone call records to see what Facetime calls I've made.

To be clear - on my iPhone, Facetime shows only Facetime calls. (Calls made outside of Facetime, whether through the Phone app or through Whatsapp etc, are shown in the Phone app records.) What I want is to achieve the same for Facetime on my Mac - to have it show only Facetime calls - whereas now it shows every single call, including both Facetime calls *and* regular phone calls made from my iPhone (I don't make regular calls from the Mac) which are irrelevant.

Anyone have any solutions for that? Thanks
