I keep getting phishing junk emails on my iPhone 7 saying ITUNES has deducted $500 from my account. This happens 2/3 times a month. I block sender and delete. How can I stop this when I never ordered any ITUNES GIFT CARD from Apple Online Store.

Phishing states on ITUNES that I ordered an ITUNES GIFT CARD FOR $500 from Apple Online Store. I ordered NOTHING. How do I stop these constant emails?

iPhone 7, iOS 15

If you can figure out how to stop them, you'll probably win the Nobel Peace Price, the Congressional Medal of Honor, an OBE and the Order of Lenin.

Meanwhile, if you're using Apple as your email provider, start here:

Manage junk mail in Mail on iCloud.com - Apple Support

Reduce junk mail in Mail on Mac - Apple Support

If you're using a different email provider, contact them for assistance with junk mail filtering.

Changing your password will affect nothing. People don't need to know your password to send you email. If you change your email address, it may slow down the spam for a while. But, eventually, you'll be back to where you are now. Spam is almost entirely automated. The phishing emails are not coming from Amazon or PayPal. They are coming from other, much less savory organizations. They buy email address lists and have software that sends emails to all of them.
