why is screen very dark when streaming apple TV on MacBook? Apple TV actually streams better onto my Samsung TV. On my MacBook Air (new with updated software), the screen is too dark to see faces, etc. Yes, I have manually adjusted the brightness. It's not enough to actually see much of anything.

Does this only happen with a specific movie or show? There are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot this per this article: If you can't watch or stream movies and TV shows in the Apple TV app - Apple Support
1. If multiple people on your network are using the internet, your connection speed might slow down. Ask them to temporarily pause their internet activities.
2. If you're using a smart TV or streaming device, turn it off and back on again. If you're using an Apple device, restart it.
3. Tap or click the download button to try downloading the movie or TV show instead.
