why does my iphone send texts as emails?
Instead of showing my cell phone number, it adds Tmomail.net to my cellphone text.
it looks like this
xxxxxxxxxx@tmomail.net
TMobil suggested that I change some settings Messages but it did not help.
Any ideas out there?

Go to Settings/Messages/Send & Receive. Check your phone number under Start New Conversations From:
Make sure your phone number is correct in Settings/Phone//My Number, including the “+” followed by the country code

Does this happen with everyone, or just one person? If it’s just one it’s a problem with their phone that can’t receive SMS/MMS texts.
Your full phone number with country code (in the US) is of the form +1 555-555-5555

I'm using an iPhone and she has an Android.

ok, that's what I have.....
Only one person has mentioned it to me. So you think that it might be her settings rather than mine?
I'll forward this to her and see if she can check on it from her end.
I think it’s likely it is on her end. That is the email address for your phone number with T-Mobile.
