Can the Homepod Mini replace my Logitech Harmony Hub and run all the devices in my home theater system?

I'm a pretty savvy technology guy but am having difficulty discerning if Apple's Homepod Mini can run my entire home theater system. Here's the scenario.

I am currently running everything through my Logitech Harmony Hub. I have a number of activities set up, like Watch Apple TV, which turns on my Yamaha receiver, sets the output to HDMI 2, turns on the Apple TV, turns on my Sony monitor, etc., all performed through IR. It has worked flawlessly for years until recently, when it appears an Alexa upgrade broke Alexa's ability to run the Harmony Hub. I can still run the Hub via the app just fine but would rather be able to control my activities and components via voice.

Upon further research, it's clear that the Harmony Hub has been discontinued, with support for such soon to follow. Thus, I'm looking for a replacement. I would need to replace to Hubs that run different systems in two different rooms.

This brings me to my straightforward question. Will Apple's Homepod Mini suitably replace my Logitech Harmony Hub by utilizing IR to manage my receiver, Apple TV, Sony monitor activities? It seems self-evident but I can't find anything in Apple's Homepod Mini specs or literature that indicates it communicates in this manner.
