I have the opposite problem. I receive certain emails on my i-phone that I do NOT receive on my computer.

Make sure the email account is configured as an IMAP account on all devices and the server in order to synchronize email across all devices accesing the email account.

If you have email rules defined on the Mac and you have not used Mail on the Mac to filter them, then you will see those unprocessed candidate emails appear on the iPhone until the macOS Mail client is run and rules are applied there — with subsequent Mail synced between the devices.
Tested: macOS Ventura and iOS 16.1.
