Thanks to os13.0 I can't use my brother printer any more

No printer driver for OS13.0 on my brother printer DCP-9055CDN, which was working just fine with OS12.6.1 the day before uptated to Ventura. Now, with Apple making it almost impossible to rollback from OS13 to OS12, even with having complete TimeMachine Backup of the past.

This will hurt my business. I will never ever get another Mac if you guys cannot keep drivers between companies compatible, having to buy new printer hardware with any random OS update. $500 for a printer and they are absolutely useless. Brother blames Apple. Apple blames Brother. Then they both blame Adobe. This is BS.

Mac mini, macOS 10.15

Sorry to hear of your issue. Responsibility for creation and distribution of drivers for third party products lies with the third party product manufacturers. There are thousands of third party products that each have specific driver needs. It would be impossible for Apple to create drivers for these products, some of which are proprietary.

Apple makes available to third party product manufaturers advance access to upcoming operating systems so that the third party manufacturers can create the needed drivers for their products. If a manufacturer chooses not to create the required drivers, that is a decision made 100% by the manufacturer., perhaps to sell newer products.
