Xerox printer not working after Ventura 13.2.1 download

The new printer dialogue box that came with Ventura is awful. Initially I could not access any of the features that come with our Xerox AltaLink C8045. A Xerox technician re-download the latest driver to make sure it was working. Now I can marginally print things. But I have very limited options and most of the selections in the printer dialogue boxes open up empty. See images attached. How do I get back to the older printer dialogue boxes which worked? Do I have to reinstall an older OS? This is unacceptable.

General troubleshooting steps for printing problems are outlined in the support article Solve printing problems on Mac. Trying to print from another app, adding the printer again or Update your printer software if your printer has a printing problem on Mac are all outlined.


The windows you describe appear to be Print Dialog Extensions, a component of the printer software. Disabling those is also mentioned in the first article mentioned.


It would be necessary to check with the printer manufacturer to see if older printer software can be ran on your system presently.
