M1 MacBook Pro 13 external displays rotated

Since MacOS 13 update external monitors will rotate 180 degrees without command when plugged in. Sometimes the built in display rotates.

The mouse is not rotating, but "where" the mouse is on the display matches the upside down part. I cannot do presentations anymore as the external projectors display will flip.

The image below was when plugged in to a projector.

Hi there SkyNet _5__,

If the screen of your external displays are rotating unexpectedly, follow these steps from Rotate the image on your Mac display to change the rotation back to normal:

1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Displays  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
2. Click the pop-up menu next to Rotation on the right and choose how many degrees to rotate the image on your display.
3. In the dialog that appears, click Confirm.

To return your image to its original rotation, click the Rotation pop-up menu and choose Standard.

We hope that helps!
