Macos Ventura display issue

I have a display issue after Ventura update. The default display option (2560x1600) seems really really small as compare to the Monterey version. I've tried different options like 1920x1200 and 1280x800(HiDPI) but the resolution cannot match exactly the same. It would be very helpful if someone encountered the same issue and provide some solution.

Also my machine is 13" MacBook pro M1 (late 2020) model

Hi thanhpx,

If the resolution of your Mac doesn't look correct after updating, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Restart your Mac Shut down or restart your Mac
  2. Test in safe mode and restart as it "deletes some system caches" and "does a basic check of your startup disk" How to use safe mode on your Mac
  3. Reset NVRAM on your Mac as the NVRAM is responsible for the display resolution amongst other features.

Take care.

I have the same issue on my iMac with the TripleHead2Go display adapter (which shows as "Unknown Display"). My dual projectors were 7680x2400, after the upgrade to Ventura, I have a display of 6720x2100.

I tried the steps suggested by @Vero_F1, made no difference.

This happened before as well (with the upgrade to Big Sur if I remember correctly), and was corrected in a subsequent update.
