Operating System for Macbook Pro 2012

Question

Hi Everyone,

I have been cleaning up the files on my laptop and wondering what the latest operating system is that I should have on here.

It seems to be quite an old operating system, but perhaps this is because my laptop is so old!

I have added a screen shot of the laptop specs below.

The mid 2012 is quite capable of Catalina macOS 10.15.7
