Excel is crashing after saving in network drive (SMB) - Ventura

Hello,

I have BIG problem after updating to macOS Ventura.

When I try to save changes to an excel file located in a network

location (SMB) I get the message - " The document was saved

successfully, but Excel cannot re-open it because of a sharing

violation. Please Close the document and try to open it again".

When I try to re-open a get a message "This file is locked for editing".

Before an update everything was fine. The problem occurs on two devices.

Just wanted to echo that I'm experiencing this issue as well on a M1 Max Mac Studio and M1 Pro MacBook Pro. I've tried granting Microsoft Excel full disk access, reinstalling Microsoft Office, and also turning off indexing for Spotlight, but none of these attempts seem to resolve the issue.
