Toggle insert mode

Where is the Insert key on MacBook keyboard? Or what is the shortcut for Insert key? I need to use the insert key like on Linux or Windows. Especially when editing code or stuff like that. But also in any activity the override mode is useful. Sometimes editing code is terribly annoying without the insert key.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.7

Hey marek_marik,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

The article may have the shortcut you're looking for: Mac keyboard shortcuts. Under the section labeled "Document shortcuts" there are shortcuts that allow you to move the insertion point to the beginning of the document, end of the document, beginning of the current line, end of current line, beginning of a previous word, and the end of the next word.

There are other keyboards shortcuts that may interest you as well.

Take care.
