My AirPod pros have more bass boost then needed can someone help

As there are no sound settings on the AirPods themselves, try adjusting the sound on your iPhone as outlined here to resolve the issue: Change the way music sounds on iPhone - Apple Support

• "Choose an equalization (EQ) setting: Go to Settings  > Music > EQ.
• Normalize the volume level of your audio: Go to Settings > Music, then turn on Sound Check."

I had the exact same issue and returned them immediately! I’ve been so used to Gen 1 for my rock music and that bass boost was so noticeable. I produce music at home so checking mixes with the Gen 2 was so frustrating to hear all the extra bass. I admit I didn’t really look into a solution so let me know if you figure it out. Thanks
