New AirPod pro not working with my Samsung TV

I recently purchased the new AirPod pro 2 headphones. I’ve tried connecting them to my Samsung TV. like other get sound and then no sound, although the AirPods remain connected to the TV.


I returned my AirPods and ordered another pair and still have the same issue.


My AirPods Pro 1 and another pair of non apple headphones work with the same TV with no issues, is this a Samsung of Apple firmware issue?
