iPhone 14 Pro Max 256 GB IOS 16.0.3 what causes my keyboard to intermittently lag/freeze when typing iMessages? When frozen I cannot do anything. After several seconds it comes out of it. Very annoying. It happens when typing fast in iMessages.

I have the same issue. If I start typing too fast, it lags and freezes up for a second. I have to stop to let it catch up. I am also having issues with Facebook text field disappearing if I scroll down a post which prevents me from even being able to type a reply. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app. Have two other 14 pro max phones and they are working fine. I’m going to back my phone up and reset it to see if it helps as it feels like a software issue.
I already reached out to Apple support and they were unable to solve my issue of keyboard lag. They did analytics on my phone and tried other options like hard reboot. I am reaching out to the Apple community now.
For me reset - reset all settings solved the same issue
