Apple TV App on Macbook Air M2 - Audio out of sync

Watching Apple TV Plus shows the audio at first is in sync but as playback continues it gets more and more out of sync. I've tried clearing the cache but it keeps happening. The only way to resolve is to close out of playback screen and restart. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi there andertrack,

So that we can start to isolate this behavior, what audio source are you using when you play this content from Apple TV+? Are you using the built-in speakers, headphones, or AirPlay? Does this happen with any other content outside of Apple TV+?

Let's also ensure your Mac is fully updated as this installs security updates and bug fixes that can resolve issues like this. These steps from Update macOS on Mac show how:

1. Before continuing, it's a good idea to back up your Mac.
2. From the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen, choose System Preferences.
3. Click Software Update in the System Preferences window. Can't find Software Update?
4. Software Update now checks for new software.
• If Software Update finds new software, click Update Now or Upgrade Now to install. You might be asked to restart or enter an administrator password.
• If Software Update says that your Mac is up to date, then no new software is currently available for your Mac model.

Cheers!
