Voice to text and Siri not working

I had the same problem until just a minute ago! I saw something on another thread about going into your settings, then Siri and Search, then go to languages and change to ENGLISH (United Kingdom). It worked for me! Give it a try. Hopefully it’ll work for you too. Very odd. Now my messages (talk to text), Siri and Safari are all three working again.

i Know to locate it. The toggle is green, until I changed the voice to British. Now it does not stay green, but turns off after I toggle it on. Also, my dictation does not work (has not worked since updating to ios16

This did not work for me. it actually disables the "Hey Siri" toggle and I cannot override it. Now I am stuck without any Siri at all.

I am having the same issue and unfortunately that fix didn’t work for me either. Hoping someone else might have a suggestion. So frustrating!
