After I load google maps webpage in Safari, I can not scroll properly; that is when I zoom in and out,it's completely screwed up.
I am not seeing this problem in Chrome
I have tried one of the solutions in this forum by someone's and it did not fix it

look here If Safari on Mac doesn't open a webpage or isn’t working as expected - Apple Support (CA) it's also possible that google maps doesn't support safari 16 too

Safari on IPhone is not the same like Mac. Do you can open Apple.com on your mac ? If yes the problem is Google maps but of not contact Apple Support. Sorry 😕

no problem w/google maps on my iPhone 10
I guess I'll have to wait until google fixes this with safari 16
