My text notifications stopped working about a week ago. I’ve rebooted my phone and checked all settings. Everything looks ok. Has anyone else experienced this and/or know how to resolve it? Currently, I have to open my messages app to see if I have a new message.

Let's check some other settings on your iPhone.
Since your iPhone is unlocked when you receive messages, there may be a setting set to allow notifications for Messages. This is explained in more detail here: Allow or silence notifications for a Focus on iPhone - Apple Support
1. Choose a Focus—for example, Do Not Disturb, Personal, Sleep, or Work.
2. Tap Apps (or tap Choose Apps), then do one of the following:
• Allow specific apps: Tap Allow Notifications From, tap, then select apps.
• Silence specific apps: Tap Silence Notifications From, tap
You can also turn on Time Sensitive Notifications, which allows all apps to send time-sensitive notifications immediately.

To start, do you still see the badge app notifications on the icon? If you swipe down from top of iPhone to view Notification Center, do your notifications appear there? If neither are showing up, you might also have Do Not Disturb enabled or another Focus. To check, swipe down from top-right corner to see if you have a Focus enabled. Hi. Yes, I have the badge notification. I’ve checked all of the setting but only hear a text tone when the phone is open/unlocked. If had an iPhone since it first came out. Ie. I’m not a new user. How can I resolve this?
