ipad mini 5 touch issue

I purchased ipad mini 5 for gaming .. I play pubg and it's been 1 year since I bought this and it was working fine but suddenly now from past 10 days I am facing a issue of Ghost touch while gaming . It will not register more touches at once required by the game and moreover when a touch the joystick to move my character it resists the touch joystick from moving results in screen flicker. My ipad has never broken or damaged... Today I faced same problem with YouTube scrolling . I scrolled the suggested list of videos and few of my touches were unregistered by my screen... This problem happens mostly around the time of charging and playing simultaneously... And even after unplugging the problem persists untill I restart the ipad and many times it occurs when ipad heats a bit and sometimes even restarting can not help.

:-->SOLUTIONS I HAVE USED ALREADY ARE AS FOLLOWS.

1) I tried changing place of charging i.e another socket on another floor of building

2) I tried charging it with my laptop (at first day it was working fine and second then second day, same symptoms came into play)

3) I had reset Ipad and reinstalled the game( it went smooth for a whole day and then again same things started to happen)

4) my ipad only has game and no other apps so no extra storage is being used.

5) I tried using another apple authorised charger and cable

6) I tried removing all kinds of screen protectors and dusts from screeen

Try a forced restart of your iPad - as this will often clear an isolated software or performance issue:


  • On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
  • On an iPad with Face ID: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
