I currently have 2TB of iCloud service. I was interested in the apple one family plan with 2TB of iCloud storage Apple TV ….. ect. Do I need to cancel my iCloud subscription first. Not certain how to do this so I am not being charged twice

There is a complication, if you are using two different AppleIDs for iCloud and media and purchases. If you purchase Apple one from an account with the media and purchases Apple ID but subscribed to iCloud+ from your iCloud Apple ID, the iCloud subscription will not be gancelled automatically, even with family sharing on.
The individual subscriptions will be cancelled automatically, except for iTunes Match.
