The Bluetooth connection was fine until I updated to IOS 16. Now, the signal is lost between my hearing aids and my phone anytime the phone plays any other sounds. The only way to get it back is to restart my hearing aids and open settings to hearing devices before it will re connect. I keep hoping that an update will be released to address this, but so far not so much.
There was an update to iOS 16.0.2. Have you updated your iPhone? You may want to talk to an Apple Accessibility Support Specialist and see if this is an issue Apple is aware of. Here is a link to contact them:

I discovered that by "forget this device" and reinstalling the bluetooth connection, it is much better and time will tell if it's a final fix. And yes, I did update to the latest IOS version, but hadn't tried to reinstall the driver for my hearing aids after that until now.
