I am horrified, my iphone X security feature has locked me out of my device. My code was incorrect which it was not and now my phone is locked.
I have pictures and videos which I fear is not all backup, how can I access the device once it has been locked?

Your only option is a complete erase and restore. If you didn't have a backup, there's no way to recover the files.\
