Here is further information that might help you;

if are using Windows 7 (or Windows 8), your version of iTunes will be limited to 12.10.11.2, which in turn means that you will not be able to use it to update your phone to iOS 15 or later, which is what I assume you are trying to do.

iOS 15 requires iTunes 12.12.0.6 or later and the current version of iTunes (on the day of writing this) is 12.12.5.8 which was released on 12 September 2022.

Perhaps you do not in fact have the latest version of iTunes. Look in Help / About iTunes. Which version is listed?

Also, which version of Windows are you using?
