Verify button not working under Manage Payments

I tried buying an app, but the screen said my payment method needed to be verified by the account organizer. I followed the steps, got a code sent to my husband’s phone, he read it to me as I entered it and hit the blue VERIFY “button.” But nothing happens. It doesn’t flicker, doesn’t crash or back out… nothing happens. I’ve tried closing everything, turning off my phone and back on… still doesn’t work. (iPhone 13, ios 16)
