Apple Watch 7 Locking out for an hour

I recently downloaded and updated my watch to the latest iOS (9/23/2022).

Whenever I remove it from the charger, put it on, and tap the screen, it states I’ve entered the wrong passcode and have to wait an hour to unlock.

I thought it was a weird glitch, and tried turning it off and back on. It now says I have to wait eight hours to unlock.

Any advice or has this happened to anyone else?
