Cycling through Passcode

Hi Guys,

My Series 9 watch has an issue where it started constantly and rapidly cycling through the passcode by itself and of course that caused it to lock me out as it was the wrong code.

This made is impossible to try and shut it down and then restart.

I'm currently letting the watch run out of charge.

Has anyone elese come across this?

Steps to reset watch after too many passcode failure doesn't work I have a 3 series 42 mm aluminum GPS LTE watch . I was using it a couple of years back n now trying to reuse it. Now it says too many Passcode attempt reset the watch n pair again. I tried the steps mentioned in the page to reset by pressing power button until power off option comes and then press crown button to get the reset option. I get the power off option in the first step but pressing crown button in the second step never shows me the option for reset . Pressing it any long doesn't work. I can see the watch crown button works because watch responding normally for the crown button. Any help in getting it reset ?

Apple Watch 7 Locking out for an hour I recently downloaded and updated my watch to the latest iOS (9/23/2022). Whenever I remove it from the charger, put it on, and tap the screen, it states I’ve entered the wrong passcode and have to wait an hour to unlock. I thought it was a weird glitch, and tried turning it off and back on. It now says I have to wait eight hours to unlock. Any advice or has this happened to anyone else?

Why is my Apple watch 7 saying I've had too many passcode attempts when all I did was put it on the charger? I know my passcode. I put my phone on it's charger and when I checked it a while later it said I'd had too many passcode attempts and had to wait 15 minutes. I left it on the charger overnight and when I took it off the charger it said I had to wait 8 hours. I never even had a chance to enter my passcode. I know how to reset the watch to factory settings but would like to avoid doing that. Why would my watch think I've been entering the wrong passcode too many times when I haven't even touched it?

What worked for me: Restart the watch by pushing all three buttons and wait to you can enter the passcode.

This did not help for my watch, it did power it down but now say’s can’t retry for 3hr.
