since the latest upgrade to iOS 16.02 and Monterey 12.6, my comcast mail will not work with apple mail

I cannot get comcast mail to work with the apple mail app on MacBook Pro, iPhone or iPad. I can go to the xfinity website and read my mail, so I know I have the right user name and password.

Errors I get are the password is not recognized.

Mail won't connect to my Comcast email account I had added my Comcast email account to Mail but then it stopped being able to connect to it, and so I deleted the account and now it won't let me add it back at all. It says, "unable to verify account or password." I have logged into my Comcast account online and I have the password correct. I tried Connection Doctor, but that only looks at accounts that are already added. I've been trying to add the Comcast email account as an "@ mail" account. In the olden days, I didn't have this problem - mail added my Comcast account and I could get my Comcast mail through Mail on my Mac. I think the problem started when I upgraded to Ventura 13.5.

Mail can't connect to Comcast email accounts anymore I've checked everything - reset passwords, etc, deleted Comcast account from mail and tried to add it back. It's 3 different Comcast email addresses. They've been working flawlessly for years and I think this all started when I updated to Venture 13.3.1, but I'm not certain of that. Oh - and Mail also stopped working with my gmail account at the same time. Only my apple.com email address works through mail. The other accounts continue to function fine outside of Mail through web browsers.

Call Comcast support and when they answer ask to be transferred to Tier 2. You are having and activation server problem and only they can resolve it.
