Screen time pass code lock
How can I reset my screen time password without knowing my previous screen time passcode on an iPhone XR. Trying to reset to factory. It is preventing me from resetting the phone to factory for trade in.

You don’t need the screen time passcode to reset to factory, only if you want to use the built-in “erase all content and settings”, but there are other ways to clear the phone. See→What to do before selling or giving away your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
