Safari on second screen dims the non active window, why?

I'm just noticing that Safari on a second screen auto dims the non active window to be very dark. I don't think this is something I've turned on or installed or anything - does anyone know what causes this, or is it a new feature?

Can't seem to find a setting to turn it off so far.

Safari browser window greyed out When I have multiple safari windows open a weird issue began 1-2 months back. Here's what happens. I open one browser window on the left of my monitor. I then open another browser window for that same page, but on the right side of my monitor. This way I can have two browser windows open for efficiency. But what happens when I open the additional window is that the left window goes dark. Then when I click the left window, the right goes dark. And when I close either both windows close. This wasn't happening until some recent updates. Do you know what's happening and how I can ensure the prior behavior happens?

Video Dimming Brightness playing glitch in Safari Since using Safari Version 16.4, there is a issue with the brightness of videos when they are playing. Videos will dim down in brightness, even to a point of complete Black for a second. This problem is sporadic, with no patten for how long it will begin, end or restart. This happens on every video source: News sites, YouTube, Netflix, Disney Plus, etc The screen does not change in brightness when this happens; the MacBooks' display and also any external display being used. Colour profiles being used are the default of the displays. This does not seem to be an issue with playback on other browsers or video files on the system.

Safari app flickering every 2 seconds after macOS 15.4.1 update After updating to Mac iOS 15.4.1 my Safari app keeps flickering. I tried bringing it up in the safe mode and restarting again which fixed it for a day and again it started flickering. Both my macbooks now have this issue. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Same. I like to have my gmail open at all times while I work - I shove it off to the side always open, and browse and do other work on another Safari window. All of the sudden its going very dark when I am on another Safari window. This wasn't the behavior before. How do I disable this? its annoying and I want to be able to have that window open at regular brightness.
