Paint flaking/ corrosion on apple watch series 7

Is it normal for a new apple watch to have flaking/corrosion on its aluminum body this early? I’ve only had my watch for 4 months and I seldomly wear it. One of the reasons I rarely wear it is because as early as 2 months, I have seen signs of the corrosion and don’t want it to progress, but nonetheless, it still did.

I have worn Apple aluminum-cased water daily for over two years with no signs of corrosion. I exercise, show and swim with the watch.

Did you ever take the watch into a hot tub or similar or in seawater/brackish water?

Do you sweat excessively and not wash the watch or take a shower afterwards?

Has to watch been exposed to corrosive environment like at work similar?

What you are experiencing is NOT normal.
