AirPods Pro 2 out of sync

I've just got my AirPods Pro 2nd gen and, although they are great, occasionally (like 30% of the time), any sound played from any of my devices sounds incredibly strange, like the AirPods are about a millisecond out of sync with one another. Usually turning on and off spatial audio fixes this, but wanted to know if I'm the only one.

Hi, I'm experiencing the same issue with my brand new Airpods Pro 2. As you mentioned, it only happens some of the time while streaming media with surround sound. Seems to reset when I skip forward or backward, which will sometimes cause or fix the issue. It sounds like the Airpods are out of sync by maybe a millisecond or two.

I have the same annoying issues. This weird left/right out of sync/echo by mere milliseconds, and the equalisation or balance between left and right drifting. Also finding that this happens most noticeable with radio streaming apps (UK: BBC Sounds and Virgin radio apps).

It feels like a software fault as it's not constant, but I'm seriously considering returning them and trying a fresh pair. It's a lot of money for high-end kit that's this faulty!

Airpods Pro 2 ANC issues

(I've posted this in another thread here as well, just to get some feedback if a particularly batch was having this issue).

Exact same issues here. I had my whole unit changed on the first day I got it (23rd Oct), and even the 2nd unit also had the exact same issues. Noticed that my wife's pair has no such issues and the serial numbers on her buds start with GW/GX. My 2nd pair was GN/GN.

Within a few days, I returned it as i thought it was a batch issue. After some thought, tried to look for the batch that is close to hers based on the serial number on the box. Found one (GH), bought it and the issue didn't sound as bad as the first 2 pairs (first 2 pairs you could literally hear the singer's voice travel down to the bottom left side!) My 3rd pair the serial numbers of the buds were GX/GN.

Yes, I'm conclusion the sounds seem more balanced on both sides if ANC/Transparency modes were turned off. It was the worse in ANC mode; I had to keep re-inserting and adjusting into my ears, and even tried to equalize my ears for it to sound bearable in ANC mode. If I keep switching between the 3 modes, there's an obvious shift in the sound balance. And if I listen real carefully, the sound balance will wobble throughout the songs. i.e. The vocals will sometimes be concentrated on the left, sometimes on the right. Seems to happen for either Spotify or Music app, but it's more obvious on Spotify.

I'm thinking is it because I have heavier tinnitus in my right ear that is causing this issue? My wife tried my pair but she feels that both sides seemed balanced. If there's some way to turn off the auto-sound adjustment (or wondering if it's the Adaptive EQ?), I think it'll be perfect for now.
