Logic pro x demo Song missing

Apparently, demo songs have been changed in 10.7, as it was a major update. Your best chance of getting 'Ocean Eyes' is to find someone in your area who has previous version of LP installed and ask them to share this demo project. Or look up online, perhaps it's already been shared on other dedicated boards.

Goto the templates section when trying to open a new project. The Ocean eyes project should be there.

There isn't a single song in my "Demo projects" folder. Neither Billie Eilish, nor the new one from Lil Nas X. Can anyone tell me if this requires more than just the Logic update. For example a separate download step.

It must be that I opened and saved everyone of them. There is much to learn from how they set eq’s, effects, and many others. Billies song has some interesting use of more than one compression being applied to her vocal track.

I would encourage you all to spend some time observing how they set their effects and such. And save the effects settings for use later down the road on another project.

Also known as 'serial compression' in some circles ;) works wonders on the bass too btw
