Songs randomly cut short, skip the beginning, or restart after a few seconds. This issue was fixed by Apple in a previous update but now it’s back with the v18 update. Do you have this issue too?

I have the same problem. I started a playlist with an automation and the first 5-8 song skips every 3-5 seconds. Later a song skips after 30 seconds, etc. Not good.
