I read overheating the battery can cause it to swell. DOES THIS MEAN PLAYING GAMES OR ANYTHING RECOURSE HEAVY TASK CAUSES BATTERY SWELLING?
And I am a heavy user, so I do a lot of stuff that causes my mac to heat up all the time. Should I be concerned??

Heat is bad for a battery, but usually the battery temp in an Apple laptop rises at most about 10C when all cores on the CPU are maxed out for an extended time. Battery temp is usually about 32/35C (idle) to 40C although it may go as high as 43/45C (full non-stop load, fans at max speed). At least with the Intel Macs. I haven't really checked on the M1/M2 Apple Silicon Macs, but they should naturally run cooler in theory.

So.....As a person who usually runs resource-heavy tasks on this mac quite often (not every day, but this mac is used a lot for processor-heavy tasks) Should I be concerned about the battery being affected by heat? or even swelling? I know there are other stuff that can cause a battery to swell. So please tell me if you know of any.
Does playing games cause the battery to swell over time?
