iPhone 13 pro has suddenly died

My iPhone 13 pro was working this morning and just suddenly died. It was fully charged. I have tried the volume up and down and side button. Also tried connecting to my mac pro but neither finder nor iTunes see it. Find my phone sees it but at least six hours ago. Any further suggestions ?

Hello JMW13,

For issues with the iPhone not turning on, this page will help to provide the available steps to try: If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

It sounds like you may have tried them, but the force restart steps will be found here:

1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
An animation of an iPhone with arrows pointing to the volume up button, then to the volume down button, and then to the side button.

4. If your phone doesn't turn on, follow these steps to check your hardware and charge your phone. You might need to charge for up to an hour.
5. If your phone still doesn't turn on, contact Apple Support.

As the page notes, if the steps don't help the next step will be to reach out to Apple Support to explore available options for service: Apple Support

Take care.
