Issue with calling

Basically whenever I place a call, I can call people and they can call me and FaceTime also works except for the communication aspect. so basically, whenever I call somebody, I can hear them on the phone however, they can’t hear me and it sounds as if I’m completely muted on the other side of the line. And my microphone on my actual phone works. I can do voice memos and also use the microphone to write out my text messages. Therefore I know there’s nothing wrong with my microphone however, I have a problem with people being able to hear me on the other side of the line they don’t hear anything at all once the call is picked up. Therefore, I don’t know if there’s a bug or if there’s something wrong with my phone because that’s not normal. I also spoke to my phone company cause I first I thought it was a Network issue. However, they informed me that if it was a network issue, I would not be able to hear the person on the other side of the phone both ways. However, because the problem is only on my side, it Has to be a problem with the phone somehow. And this is concerning my iPhone 8 Plus
