share failed - (error -12905)

Trying to export a file @ native footage settings (ProRes 422) via FCPX 10.6.4 and keep getting the same share failed (error-12905). I reformatted the drive to MacOS Extended (Journaled). Didn't help. ANy ideas?

Error Code -51 when transferring large files over SMB I am having an issue where large files transferred over Wifi from my Ubuntu server to my Macbook Pro are failing. I can transfer files <500MB without issue. I was getting error code 100060 but I was able to fix this by setting a static local IP. Now I'm getting code -51. The file I'm transferring doesn't matter- any large file will fail, and any small file succeeds. I have 600GB free space and the files I'm trying to transfer are 10-15GB (videos). Ventura 13.0.1. Also of note- I have the same file share configured on a desktop Windows machine and can transfer the files above (and play them back) without any problems.

Why are changes not saving on Network Share? Hi , We meet an issue since with update to Ventura. We cannot save file on network share. When we open an existing file and try to save it. An empty directory is created with the same file name + some letter but changes are not saved. It's happen with different software Adobe suite , Office suite but also with TextEdit It works with a previous version of OSX Maverick. It tried different smb configuration v1 /V2 V3 only nothing help. Is anyone meet the same issue and solved it? Regards [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Exactly what computer are you using? What OS and FCP version is this? Can you give complete details of the media, resolution, codec, frame rate, sample rate, and also the project properties, resolution, frame rate, sample rate, and anything else that might not be basic?

Post a screenshot of the error message.
